At Soni Dentistry, we are committed to providing transparent, patient-centered care. To ensure a smooth experience for all our patients, we have outlined our office policies regarding financial arrangements, insurance, cancellations, and appointment confirmations.

Financial Policy

Payment Methods

We accept multiple forms of payment for your convenience, including:

  • Cash
  • Debit cards
  • Visa, MasterCard, American Express
  • Medicard (line of credit)
  • Personal cheques (accompanied by a driver’s license and major credit card)
 

If you have questions regarding treatment costs, our treatment coordinators are happy to provide estimates and help arrange financial solutions in advance.

Patients with Dental Insurance

Our office works with many insurance providers to maximize your benefits. Because coverage can vary and change throughout the year, it is important that you inform us of any updates to your plan.

While we provide estimates of coverage, final balances may differ after insurance processing. Ethically, our dentists focus on treating your needs, not the insurance plan.

As a courtesy, we:

  • Submit all necessary claim forms directly to your insurance company
  • Accept assignment of benefits for eligible plans, allowing you to pay only your co-payment at the time of treatment
  • Collect full fees at the time of treatment for plans that do not allow direct insurance payment
 

Patients without Dental Insurance

Payment in full is expected on the day of treatment. For balances over $300, we offer flexible financial solutions to ensure patients can receive the care they need. Please consult with our treatment coordinator for options.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that life can be unpredictable. If you need to reschedule an appointment, we ask for at least two working days’ notice. This allows us to offer your appointment time to patients waiting to be seen sooner.

Repeated missed appointments may require a scheduling deposit to secure future visits.

Appointment Confirmation Policy

To help you stay on schedule, we offer multiple appointment confirmation options:

  1. Email or SMS Confirmation:
    • You will receive a reminder two weeks prior and another reminder two days before your appointment.
  2. Landline Confirmation:
    • You will receive a voice message asking you to press 1 to confirm, or a reminder will be left on your answering machine.
 

For any appointment changes, please call Soni Dentistry directly to speak with our reception team. A confirmation is required to secure your appointment.
